Sitamarhi police yet to crack Rs 2.34 lakh loot case

Sitamarhi :   Sitamarhi police are conducting raids at suspected hideouts of criminals to nab those involved in loot of Rs 2.34 lakh from the  cashier  of  Chandra  cooking gas agency at Punaura road in Sitamarhi town on Monday evening at gun point. Sitamarhi SP Hari Prasad S  said that the criminals would be arrested soon. Police sources said three  armed criminal riding a motorcycle reached at the gas agency on Monday evening while the workers and cashier of the agency were  engaged in counting the cash. The criminals whipped out a pistol,  looted cash  and sped away towards Sheohar. The workers chased  the criminals but in vein. A case was lodged with Sadar police station in this regard .
