Artists protest Bhojpuri singer Rinku Ojha’s arrest

Ara: Under the banner of `Ara Rangmanch’ hundreds of artists, social workers and others took out a procession from H D Jain School, Ara,  on Tuesday. It passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated at Ramana Maidan. The procession was taken out in protest against arrest of Bhojpuri singer Rinku Ojha in connection with murderous attempt on Deputy Mayor, Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC), Basant Singh, a week back. The activists of  Ara Rangmanch said that Rinku Ojha had been falsely implicated in the case. They demanded his immediate release and withdrawal of case against him. They also demanded CBI inquiry into the incident.
