Patna: Hiroshima Day was observed at Shrikrishna Science Centre (SSC), Patna, on Saturday.In the morning, a painting competition was organised on “Devastation caused by Atom Bomb” for Sub- junior, Junior and Secondary level school students  in which about 200 local school students participated. At 11.30 am a lecture on “No More Hiroshima” was delivered by Dr. Satyajeet Singh, Senior Vice President, Indian Doctors for Peace and Development (IDPD), and Dr. Shakeel, General Secretary, IDPD, which was attended by school students and teachers in the SSC auditorium. At 12.15 pm, a Special film show was also arranged. Dr. Satyajeet Singh awarded prizes and certificates to the winners of painting competition at the valedictory function.
