Daudnagar (Aurangabad): Exchange of fire between supporters of two RJD leaders created panic at Daudnagar in Aurangabad district on Saturday. The rival groups fired five to six rounds each in the air at Bhakharua Mor at Daudnagar. Tension prevails at Daudnagar supporters of two RJD leaders clashed and open opened fire in air in a show of strength. Some issues related to derogatory remarks on social media led to clash between the two groups.

One group was led by Kunal Kumar, son of Obra RJD MLA Birendra Sinha, while the other group was headed by Prakash Chandra, state vice chairman of disaster management cell of the RJD. No causality reported from any side though. Police are camping on the spot to restore law and order.

SDPO (sadar) PN Sahu rushed to spot with local police station force and reviewed the situation. Kunal and his supporters blocked road at Bhakharua Mor demanding immediate arrest of Prakash Chandra. The road blockade crippled the normal life. However, the blockade was lifted after positive assurance from the police. Sahu said that bothr sides fired at least half 5-6 rounds.Police are keeping a close watch on the situation.
