Satya Pal Malik given historical responsibility : Tandon

Patna : J & K Governor Satya Pal Malik was on August 25, 2018, given farewell at a function at Raj Bhavan here. Addressing the function, Bihar Governor Lalji Tandon said that Satya Pal Malik had been given a very important and historical responsibility and wished him a grand success in his new role. Former Bihar Governor Malik was appointed J&K Governor on August 21, 2018.

Governor Tandon said that reforms in higher education initiated during the tenure of Malik would continue. He said that Bihar had gained from the huge experience of Satya Pal Malik in the field of Agriculture and Education.

Malik said that he would never forget the love and affection he got from the people of Bihar. He said that the state government fully supported the reforms initiated by him during his tenure as Governor cum Chancellor of state varsities. He referred to the peaceful conduct of elections to the students’ union in all the universities of Bihar apart from implementation of Choice based Credit System during his tenure. He described Bihar Governor Tandon as a very experienced and efficient administrator.
