Patna : South Africa (SA) defeated India by 7 wickets in 3rd test at Newlands, Cape Town, SA, on the 4th day of the match on January 14, 2022, to clinch the three-match series 2-1. Set a target of 212 runs, SA scored 212/3 in 63.3 overs with Keegan Petersen scoring 82 in 113 balls with 10 fours. Petersen had scored 72 runs in first innings.
