Rs 85,547 looted from Bandhan Bank Field Worker in Saharsa

Saharsa : Three bike borne criminals looted a bag containing Rs 85,547 cash, collection machine and a mobile phone from a collection agent of Bandhan Bank on Anjani Kumar near Bhauraha Chaklatola on Simribakhtiarpur – Saharsa road in broad daylight on July 19, 2017, when he was returning to Simribakhtiarpur from village Bhauraha on his bicycle after collecting money from four groups there. Anjani Kumar is a Field Worker of Simribakhtiarpur branch of Bandhan Bank.

He lodged an FIR with Simribakhtiarpur police station in this connection on July 19 evening. The incident took place at 12.30 pm the same day. Anjani Kumar, who belongs to Bhaglpur district, said that when he reached near Bharaha Chakla main road, three bike borne criminals came near him and snatched his bag. SHO, Simribakhtiarpur police station, Umashankar Kamat, said that police were inquiring into the incident.
