Rotary Club, Chas, organises Sapling Plantation programme

Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : The Rotary Club of Chas organized Sapling Planting programme at Delhi Public School Chas alongwith the students of the school on July 18, 2018. 

The dignitaries participating in the programme included Deepak Jhajaria, President, Rotary Club of Chas, Chanpreet Singh, Secretary, Rotary Club of Chas, Dr Hemlata S Mohan, President, Dr Radhakrishanan Sahodaya School Complex and Director & Principal, Delhi Public School Bokaro Steel City, N Muralidharan, Pro Vice Chairman, Delhi Public School Chas, Suresh Agrawal, Secretary, D S Memorial Society, and Rashmi Sinha, Headmistress, Delhi Public School Chas. 

The Chairman of the Project for Tree Plantation Manjit Singh said it is the responsibility of every citizen to plant trees. They are the protector of life on earth. Chief Guest Dr Hemlata S Mohan said that the plants are the greatest gift of nature. Without plants there can be no human life, she said.  

Students of Delhi Public School Chas also participated enthusiastically in the programme and vowed to plant more trees.
