Chas (Jharkhand) : DPS, Chas, Dr Radhakrishnan Sahodaya School Complex, Bokaro, on November 22, 2019, organised a Rhymes-Chimes Fest, Kislay, with the participation from various schools which are under the aegis of Dr Radhakrishnan Sahadaya School Complex, Bokaro.
Chief Guest Ms Neelam lLeen Toppo , District Education Officer, Bokaro, said that she felt mesmerised listening to the rhyming by the tiny-tots. The guests included Chetan Joshi, a renowned flautist and composer, N Murlidharan, Pro Vice Chairman, DPS, Chas, Anil Gupta, Principal, Crescent Public School, and Vice President of Dr Radhakrishnan Sahodaya School Complex , Chinmaya Ghosh, Principal, Adarsh Vidya Mandir and Treasurer of Dr. Radhkrishan Sahodaya School Complex, Rupa Sinha, Principal, Bokaro Public School, and Puspa Agarwal, Director, Pushp Sunshine International School.
The jury members invited to judge the show were from different schools included Ms Rajana Keshav, Principal Fernndale School, Ms Anamika Sing, Sanskar Kids, Ms Anu Kumari, Principal, Eurokidz, Ms Sayeeda Salman, Eurokids, and Ms Supriya, Nutkhut Bachpan School.
The tiny tots made all the characters of each rhyme come alive. They enthralled the audience with their skills while reciting rhymes on various themes like vegetables, fruits, animals, seasons, festival, nature etc. It was an excellent opportunity for them to gain cofidence through exposure. The judges too became spellbound and lauded the performance of the children.
In Nursery Group, DPS Bokaro bagged the 1st position and Rainbow Public School and ARS Public School stood 2nd and 3rd respectively. In Prep Group DPS,Bokaro secured 1st position followed by GGPS, Chas, and Rainbow Public School. In Class-I DPS, Bokaro, won the winners title whereas MGM Senior Secondary and GGPS, SEC-V came 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The competition ended with speech by Neelkamal Sinha, Principal, DPS, Chas. She thanked the chief guest for her valuable presence and also thanked other dignitaries and the jury members.
