Retd army personnel shot dead in Bhojpur

Ara : A retired army personnel Satyanarayan Singh Yadav, 57, was shot dead by soome unidentified armed persons at village Barnav under Ayar police station in Bhojpur district at about 8.30pm on February 13 where he had gone to attend marriage of his nephew. SHO, Ayar police station, said that a barrat of Arun Singh, son of Mahendra Singh Yadav of Ratanadh village under Jagdishpur police station, had come to the house of Dhankeshwar Yadav of Barnav village on February 13. The miscreants shot dead Satyanarayan Singh Yadav, of Saguna Mor, Danapur, Patna and escaped. He was a retired army personnel. Later, police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
