Ara : Some unidentified persons carrying firearms shot dead Bijay Singh alias Sanjay Singh, son of Baldau Singh, 40, at village Barnav under Ayar police station in Bhojpur district in in the wee hour on February 14 when he was watering his field and escaped. Police rushed to the spot and brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for autopsy. An FIR has been lodged with Ayar police station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard. The reason behind the incident was yet to be ascertained.
