RCB beat KXIP by 8 wickets in 28th match of IPL-12

Patna : Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) beat Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) by 8 wickets in the 28th match of IPL-12 at Punjab Cricket Association I S Bindra Stadium, Mohali, on April 13, 2019, late night, with A B de Villers scoring an unbeaten 59 in 38 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes and captain Virat Kohli scoring 67 in 53 balls with 8 fours. KXIP had scored 173/4 in 20 overs while RCB scored 174/2 in 19.2 overs.This was RCB’s first victory in the tournament this year in 7 matches.

Marcus Stoinis remained unbeaten on 28 in 16 balls with 4 fours.  RCB scored 4, 4, and 6 in 15th, 16th, and 17th overs but scored 18 runs in the 18th over and 14 in the 19th over.
