Chhapra : Krishna Mohan Tiwary, son of Parshuram Tiwary of village Kolhua Tiwary tola under Marhoura police station in Saran district, was shot dead by unidentified criminals near village Devrhi uder Taraiya police station in Saran district on January 13, 2018, evening when he was returning to his village from Masrakh

Krishna Mohan, a Civil Engineer in a private construction firm at Bengaluru in Karnataka, had come to his village ten days back to attend the Shardha of his sister’s father-in-law. He had gone to Masrakh to meet some relative on his bike. When he reached near a scrap shop near Devrhi, some criminals stopped him fired on him with one of the bullets hitting his chest. He was rushed to Marhoura Referral Hospital where the doctor referred him to Chhapra Sadar hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on the way. Saran SP said police were probing into the incident.

The SHO, Taraiya police station, on January 14 said that police were yet to arrest anyone in connection with the murder. Replying to a query, the SHO said that an FIR had been lodged in connection with the incident against unknown persons.
