Muzaffarpur: Two persons were killed late September 26 night in different colonies of Muzaffarpur. A property dealer Anwarul Haq alias Abdullah was found murdered on the first floor of his newly constructed house at New Colony under Mithanpura police station at Muzaffarpur. The body bore cut mark by sharpedged weapon.

City DSP Ashish Anand said Haq was killed late Monday night. He said a mobile phone had been found on the spot and police had begun investigation into the incident. Police are looking into the call details of the mobile. Haq was alone at his house at the time of the incident. The nightguard of the house Vishun Paswan was first to see the body and informed police and neighbours. Police took the body under their custody at 11 pm on Monday.

In another incident on the same night, an unidentified man was killed allegedly by one of his relatives at Dadar colony under Ahiyapur police station, Muzaffarpur, at 10 pm. His head was found smashed, police said. The deceased had come to meet his relative who lived there in a rented house with his wife and two children. A bike was found outside the house. The members of the family are traceless after the incident. DSP Ashish Anand said police had begun investigation into the bike to identify the deceased, who used to visit the family whose head works in Gujarat.
