Patna : The Governor-cum-Chancellor Ram Nath Kovind on May 6, 2017, appointed Prof Awadh Kishore Rai as Vice Chancellor of B N Mandal University ( BNMU), Madhepura, while Prof Farooq Ali has been appointed Pro VC of the university. Dr Ravi Pratap Singh has been appointed Pro VCof J P University, Chhapra. Their tenure will be of three years from the date of their assuming charge of the new responsibility. The governor made these appointments after positive and effective consultation with the state government.
