Ara : Bhojpur police on March 11, 2019, submitted a 100-page charge-sheet against nine persons including notorious criminal Khurshid Quraishi, who carried a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, in connection with murder of an Ara businessman Imran Khan near Gopali Chowk on December 6, 2018.
Khurshid Quraishi along with his associates had allegedly shot dead Imran Khan and injured two persons including his elder brother and a named FIR was lodged with Ara Town police station against nine persons. Five named accused had already surrendered but four others including Khurshid Quraishi are still absconding even as police had attached their properties. The accused are at large and had threatened the family members of slain trader Imran Khan asking them to withdraw the case and when they refused, Khurshid Quraishi and his associates killed Imran Khan’s sister and once again shot at and injured his elder brother last month.
