Ara : Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar conducted raids at Ara jail on August 30, 2018, late evening, and seized a mobile phone and a charger from Prisoners’ Ward. An FIR has been lodged with Town police station in this regard on the statement of Jail superintendent. Jail Superintendent Niranjan Pandit said that it was a normal raid. About a week ago, Bhojpur DM and SP had conducted raids inside Ara jail and had seized mobiles and other items including Ganja.
