Buxar : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at different places under Buxar Town police station in Buxar District in South Bihar on January 8, 2021, and arrested three persons including two women and also seized 50 Gram and 76 packets of Heroin, an electronic weighing machine, and Rs 92,400 cash from their possession.
SHO, Buxar Town police station, Ranjeet Kumar, said that a police team conducted raid at Nehrunagar under Buxar Town police station and arrested Sanjay Rawat and seized 50 Gram of heroin, an electronic weighing machine, and Rs 91,400 cash from his possession.
The SHO further said that police also conducted raid at Shantinagar and arrested two women : Seema Devi and Mamta Kumari, and seized 43 packets and 33 packets of Heroin respectively from their possession. Later, a named FIR was lodged by Buxar Town police station against them under the NDPS Act and they were sent to jail after interrogation.
