Police seize 624 bottles of IMFL in Bhojpur, 2 held

Ara : Police, on a tip off, on July 29, 2018, seized 624 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) packed in 13 cartons and arrested two liquor smugglers: Radha Krishna Pandey alias Kariya Pandey and Raj Kishor Chaudhary, of village Suhia under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district. Later, police sent the arrested liquor smugglers to jail after lodging a named FIR against them under the Prohibition & Excise Act.

SHO, Karnamepur Police Outpost, Ravindra Kumar said that he got information that a big consignment of liquor was being brought over in his area. He immediately started vehicle checking and intercepted a Pick-up van near Ramdatahi Mor under Karnamepur police outpost. And when the vehicle was searched, police found 624 bottles of IMFL inside it. Police arrested the two liquor smugglers and seized the vehicle, he said.
