Police seize 4,000 bottles of IMFL in Bhojpur

Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raids near Babura Mor under Koelwar police station on March 22, 2018, and seized 265 cartons of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) loaded in a Pick Up van. The van was also seized.

SDPO, Sanjay Kumar said that police had received information that a big consignment of IMFL is being smuggled into Bhojpur district from a neighbouring district. Police immediately swung into action and intercepted a Pick-Up van near Babura Mor under Koelwar police station and seized 4,000 bottles of IMFL packed in 265 cartons and worth about Rs 20 lakh.

But, the liquor smugglers including the driver of the van escaped seeing  police leaving the vehicle behind. The SDPO said that police were conducting raids to arrest the liquor smugglers.
