Ara : A woman left her newborn child at the maternity ward of Ara Sadar Hospital and escaped from there as the child was black in colour with cleft lip.
Deputy Superintendent, Ara Sadar Hospital, Dr Satish Kumar Sinha said that an ANM informed him on March 22, 2018, that a newborn child was crying unattended at the maternity ward of the hospital and neither his mother nor family members are seen anywhere. Dr Sinha said that as the condition of the child was miserable, he admitted the child at the SNCU ward and informed police.
