Police seize 360 bottles of IMFL from four-wheeler in Saharsa

Saharsa : Saharsa police seized 360 bottles of IMFL from a Tata Sumo near Dehad Chowk under Sonbersa Raj police station in Saharsa district on July 20, 2017. Police seized the vehicle and arrested its driver Mohd Ansul, a resident of Gangjala, Saharsa, though the liquor smugglers managed to escape.

SDPO, Simribakhtiarpur, Ajay Narayan Yadav, said that the liquor had been brought over from Jharkhand and was to be delivered at Saharsa. The SDPO said that the arrested driver was being interrogated. Sonbersa Raj police station had received information that a four-wheeler carrying liquor was on way to Saharsa. A Sonbersa Raj police station team was on the lookout for the vehicle. The team saw the vehicle at Mali Chowk and started chasing it and finally stopped it near Dehad Chowk and nabbed its driver.
