Police seize 33 half-made pistols from train bogie at Chhapra

Chhapra (Saran): A Government Rail Police (GRP) team on January 9 seized a huge cache of arms from Dn Pawan Express at Chhapra railway station. The GRP men found an abandoned bag in a general bogie. DSP Rai Akhilesh Singh said that the GRP men were keeping watch on liquor smugglers in the train when they found 33 half manufactured pistols in the bogie. The carrier was, however, was not present in the bogie when the cops were checking the train. It may be mentioned here that recently cops had seized 16 pistols from Purvaiva Express in Saran.
