Saharsa : Police seized 30 Cartons of foreign liquor hidden under a Sand pile at a Stone Chips and Sand depot at village Dighia under Sadar Police Station, Saharsa, in Saharsa District in North Bihar, on January 21, 2020, late night.
A police team headed by SDPO Saharsa Prabhakar Tiwary, on a tipoff, conducted raid at the Stone Chips and Sand depot located at Dighia Chowk and seized the foreign liquor hidden under Sand pile using JCB machine on January 21 late night. But, the liquor smugglers succeeded in escaping from the place. SDPO Tiwary said that police were trying to identify and arrest the liquor smugglers. Police are also searching for the owner of the depot.
