Police seize 222 bottles of IMFL from three storey building at Ara

Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at a three storey building at Mahajan Toli No. 1 under Ara Town police station in Bhojpur district in the wee hours on July 19, 2019, and seized 222 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) of different brand and also seized Rs 11,550 cash though the liquor smugglers and owner of the building escaped from the scene.

SHO, Ara Town Police Station, said that he got information that IMFL had been stored in the three storey building at Mahajan Toli No 1. He along with police force immediately swung into action and conducted raids and seized 222 bottles of IMFL and Rs 11,550 cash. He said that an FIR has been lodged by Ara Town police station against the owner of the building and police are conducting raids to arrest him and the liquor smugglers.
