Patna: Special Investigation team of Bihar police on Wednesday obtained two arrest warrants from Civil Court here against the absconding former chairman of Bihar School Exaination Board (BSEB) Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh and his wife Usha Sinha, a former JD U)MLA, who are wanted in connection with the Intermediate examination results scam. Usha Sinha, who was principal of Ganga Devi Mahila College, here has been removed and in her place senior professor Kanhan Rakhaiyar has been appointed principal by Magadh University. (MU)
Senior SP, Patna, Manu Maharaaj said here the state police have requested the Airport authrotiy of India to alert its airports and prevent Lalkeshwar and his wife from escaping.The state police has also asked CBI to issue a red corner as there are apprehensions that they might have already flown to London, where their son stays. During search at BSEB office, some blank admit cards with chairman’s signature were recovered, the SSP said
Police have arrested 11 people in connection with the result scam so far. They include principal of the controversial Vishun Rai College, principals of the examination and evaluation centres,  few employees of Bihar Intermediate Council and BSEB, two close associates of the former chairman and three block level workers at Hilsa, the constituency from where Usha Sinha was elecetd JD(U) MLA in 2010.
