Darbhanga : Hira Paswan, a property dealer and hardware trader, was shot dead on Wednesday by unidentified criminals near Madhopur makhnahi. Police recovered three empty cartridges and a bullet motorcycle of the deceased from the place of occurrence.
Dilnawaz Ahmad, SDPO sadar, said that Gyanchandra Paswan, father of the deceased has lodged a case in this
regard against unidentified criminals but has alleged that murder of his son was committed on the direction of a politician. SDPO Ahmad said that Hira Paswan was native of village Chakka and police were investigating the case. Angry villagers blocked Kamtaul-Darbhanga road for hours together and demanded arrest of
the criminals.
