Aurangabad: Police foiled the bid of crimnals to commit major crime at village Tarar under Daudnagar police station in Aurangabad district in Bihar by arresting four of them on Sunday evening. Police  also recovered arms and cartridges from their possession.

Daudnagar police station headed by SHO Pankaj Kumar, on a tip off, conducted raid at separate places at village Tarar and arrested four criminals. Talking to reporters at Arangabad Town action police station on Monday, SP Babu Ram said that the arrested persons were hatching a conspiracy to commit some crime in the area. The arrested criminals were identified as Amit Pandey, Satish Kumar, Munna Kumar and Abhimanu Kumar, all are resident of different villages in the district. The SP said that a loaded pistol and six round cartridges were recovered from their possession.

Police are looking into their criminal antecedent to find out whether they were involved in more cases or not. The SP said that there was a land dispute between Bindehwari Yadav and Somaru Yadav at village Tarar. Bideshwari had called the four criminals to terrorise Somaru. During interrogation, the arrested criminals admitted were planning some crime.
