Police crack double murder case in Buxar, 4 person arrested

Buxar : Police have cracked the double murder case at village Kadasar under Sonbarsha police outpost on Holi day by arresting four persons including the son of one of the deceased. Police sent them to jail after interrogation. Police also seized the arms and a three- wheeler used in the murder.

Buxar SP Upendra Nath Verma on March 25, 2019, said that some miscreants chopped off throats of two brothers-in-law (saalaa-bahanoi) Poonam Dom and Santosh Dom at village Kadasar under Sonbarsha police outpost on March 21, 2019, and threw the bodies at Brahmsthan near Kadasar on NF 30 in Buxar district.

An FIR was lodged with Sonbarsha police outpost in this connection. The SP said that he took the incident seriously and formed a police team and directed it to arrest the miscreants at the earliest. He said that the police during interrogation of family members of the deceased, suspected Muni Dom, son of Poonam Dom, and arrested him. Police also arrested three more miscreants in this regard. The SP said that during interrogation, Muni Dom and others confessed their involvement in the double murder.
