Bettiah: East and West Champaran police, in a joint operation on June 25, 2017, night, arrested two criminals Rana Singh of Motihari, East Champaran, and one of his associates with a countrymade gun and three live cartridges from Imili Chowk locality under Bettiah Town police station.
The two arrested criminals were wanted in many cases including dreaded criminal Bablu Dubey murder case. Babalu Dubey was killed on Bettiah court premises after his production before a court on May 11, 2017.
SDPO, Bettiah, Sanjay Kumar Jha said the wanted criminals were arrested from Imali chowk of Bettiah town on June 25 night, where they had come to meet someone.
