Patna : Patna Police on September 18, 2017, arrested Prince alias Golu, 22, and Pappu Singh, 50, a land mafia, in connection with brutal murder of Nirbhay Kumar Singh, 51, owner of a Cinema Hall at Bihta in Patna district, on September 15. Police are, however, yet to arrest the four contract killers including the main shooter Amit Kumar, son of  Pappu Singh.

Police have seized the bike used by the shooters. According to Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj, Prince had given a `Supari’ of Rs 2 lakh to the shooters to kill Nirbhay Singh. The SSP claimed that all the shooters would be arrested very soon.

According to police, the father of Prince alias Golu owed Rs 6 lakh to Nirbhay Singh. Prince’s father was killed in 2016. After the death of his father, Nirbhay Singh was demanding  return of his money from Prince and his mother. The conspiracy to kill Nirbhay Singh was hatched by Prince, Pappu Singh and his son Amit Kumar, said police sources. Shops and business establishments had remained closed at Bihta for two days in protest against murder of Nirbhay Singh.
