Ara : Police arrested a man and sent him to jail on November 30, 2019, for allegedly attempting to outrage modesty of a woman at Jahanpur under Chandi police station in Bhojpur District.
An FIR has been lodged with Chandi police station in this connection. The arrested person was identified as Ajit Kumar, son of Madan Kumar of village Jahanpur.
SHO, Chandi police station, Manoj Kumar, said that a married woman was living all alone at her house at village Jahanpur as her husband was employed with a private firm outside Bihar. Ajit Kumar of the same village entered her house through the roof on November 28, 2019, late evening, and tried to outrage her modesty when she was asleep but he had to escape when the woman raised an alarm.
