Bagaha : Incharge, Pathakauli Police Outpost in West Champaran district, Subash Mukhia, on December 13, 2017, arrested a cashier of Gramin Bank, Naurangia Branch, Bijendra Prasad from Court premises, Bagaha, for boozing. The arrested bank personnel was sent to Bettiah district jail after medical examination.
Police sources said that the drunk Gramin Bank Cashier suddenly whipped out a knife to attack an Assistant Branch Manager of Gramin Bank, Semera Branch, Jitendra Kumar, who had also come to the Bagaha court for some work. Seeing their altercation, some litigants reached the spot and soon police was informed. Police took the drunk Bank Cashier into their custody and sent him to jail after his medical examination.
