Buxar : Police arrested a drug peddler from Shanti Nagar locality under Town police station in Buxar District in South Bihar and seized 46 packets of Heroin from his possession on August 11, 2020. The arrested drug peddler was identified as Sanjay Kumar of Shanti Nagar.
SHO, Buxar Town Police Station, said that Sanjay Kumar was dealing in drugs for the last several months. Police got information that Sanjay Kumar was selling Heroin at Shanti Nagar hence planned to nab him. A police personnel approached Sanjay Kumar as a customer and demanded a packet of Heroin. As Sanjay Kumar was giving him a packet of Heroin, police arrested him red handed and also seized 46 packets of Heroin from his possession. The SHO said that a named FIR has been lodged with Buxar town police against Sanjay Kumar, who was sent to jail after interrogation.
