Police arrest criminal with firearm, live rounds from Bhojpur village

Ara : Bhojpur police on January 23, 2019, arrested a criminal Raju Yadav of village Morcha under Jagdishpur police station along with a country- made pistol, two live cartridges and a numberless motorcycle from Babhanigawa. Police sent him to jail after interrogation.

SHO, Jagdishpur police station, Dharmendra Bharti, said that he had received information that some miscreants were looting vehicles between Babhnigawa and Hatpokhar villages on Ara-Mohania NH 30 on January 22, 2019. Police reached there but the miscreants escaped. Police chased the members of the gang on January 23, 2019, when they again appeared in the area to commit crime and arrested Raju Yadav from Babhnigawa though his  two associates:  history-sheeter Thuru Yadav of Babhnigawa under Jagdishpur police station and Gorakh Yadav of Khirikon under Agiao Bazaar police station escaped from the spot giving a slip to police.
