Police arrest armed youth for barging into house of girl in Anandpuri

Patna : In a daredevil act, one Golu alias Golu Hunter, 22, barged into the house of a girl in Anandpuri locality under S K Puri police station, Patna, in a drunken state at around 11:15 pm on September 1, 2018, carrying an unlicensed pistol to say her ‘I love You’. Golu with help of one of his associate Rahul, said to be son of a policeman, had made a plan to barge into his love interest’s house with a pistol and scare away her father.

Golu allegedly used to occasionally make call on the girl’s mobile number. SHO, S K Puri police station, Arvind Kumar, said that police received information regarding the incident at 11:20 pm on September 1, 2018, after which he with a police team comprising SI Satyendra Kumar and constables swung into action. Seeing police, Rahul escaped. However, police nabbed Golu from Anandpuri Nala after a 500 meter chase. An FIR in this connection was lodged by SHO, S K Puri police station, Arvind Kumar.
