Police arrest accused in several fraud cases in Bagaha

Bagaha: Police on September 28, 2018, arrested Manoj Mishra of village Sukhavan under Pathakauli Police Outpost  in connection with several cases of fraud under Valmikinagar Police Station and Pathakauli Police Outpost in Bagaha police district.

Incharge, Pathakauli Police Outpost, Rajesh Kumar, said that Manoj Mishra posing himself as Secretary of Valmikinagar panchayat had fraudulently collected money from dozens of beneficiaries to help in the allotment of  Indira Awas. Police said he was also involved in an extortion case in which he along with others forcibly extorted Rs 85,000 from one Pujari Patel of Kailshnagar locality posing himself as a cop. They snatched cash from Patel after searching his bag.
