Ara : Police arrested two miscreants and seized two countrymade pistols and two .315 live cartridges and three mobile phones from their possession on October 28, 2019, in Bhojpur District.
Police are conducting raids at different places to arrest the remaining two miscreants. With their arrest, police have cracked five cases of loot under Shahpur and Jagdishpur police stations and Gajrajganj police outpost in Bhojpur District.
SDPO, Jagdishpur, Shyam Kishore Ranjan said that Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar had formed an SIT under him after loot of 12 mobile phones and cash and directed the team to arrest the miscreants. The SIT, following scientific method, came to know that Manish Pandey alias Naga of Bara Kharauni village under Bihia police station was using the looted mobile phones.
The SIT immediately conducted raids at Bara Kharauni village and arrested Manish Pandey alias Naga along with looted mobile phones and loaded country made pistol. On his revelation, the SIT also arrested Ashish Sah alias Manish Sah, son of Asnarayan Sah of Bara Kharauni village and seized a country made pistol and one .315 live cartridge from his possession. The SDPO further said that police are conducting raids to arrest Brajesh Pandey of Bara Kharauni village and Manish Paswan of Dhawari village. The SDPO said that the gang had created havoc in the area and its members had looted mobile phones and cash from bikers at pistol point.
