Man dies in accident at Bhojpur village, villagers block road

Ara : Irate villagers blocked Ara-Mohania main road near village Mathia under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur District  with the body of a middleage accident victim paralysing the movement of vehicles for about three hours on October 28, 2019. They were raising slogans against the district administration and demanded arrest of the miscreants and compensation to the next of kin of the deceased.

The blockade was lifted after positive response from the police officials. Later, police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

SHO, Jagdishpur police station, said that a middleage person was going to the field to attend call of  nature on October 28 morning when a speeding vehicle knocked him down to death near Kaura Mathia village. The driver of the vehicle escaped with the vehicle after the incident. The deceased was reportedly a resident of Kaura village but his identity was yet to be established.
