Patna : Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC), Anupam Kumar Suman, has taken a tough stand on laidback response of PMC personnel to redressal of grievances of the people relating to waterlogging, garbage, sanitation, and streetlights received by its Combat Cell.

The Combat Cell has to looks into complaints like garbage lying unattended, waterlogging, choked chambers, open chambers, and chamber repairs, to name a few. The PMC has clearly stated that complaints must be dealt with within 24 hour failing which the officials concerned would have to face the music.

PMC Commissioner on September 7, 2018, directed the PMC officials concerned to convey to the Chief Sanitary Inspector, Cleaning Inspector and Supervisor to respond promptly to complaints received by the Combat Cell. Defaulters will face stern action, he warned.
