Patna : PM Narendra Modi while returning to Patna Airport after attending the centenary function of Patna University (PU) on Patna Science College campus on October 14, 2017, visited Bihar Museum which showcases the rich culture and history of the state. He was accompanied by Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik and CM Nitish Kumar. PM Modi, on his arrival at Patna Airport in the morning, had expressed his desire to visit the Bihar Museum.

PM Modi on October 14 shared the stage with CM Nitish Kumar for the first time after the JD(U) returned to the NDA fold. In August 2017, PM Modi along with Nitish had made an aerial survey of the flood-hit districts of Bihar. The BJP and JD(U) remained partners in Bihar for 17 years starting in 1996 but the JD(U) snapped ties in mid-2013 over selection of Modi as BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate.
