Patna : Bihar Govrernment on March 29, 2019, deputed 20 Deputy Secretary and Basic Grade rank officials of Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) to Gaya and Jamui districts in view of PM Narendra Modi’s visit to the two districts on April 2, 2019.
The government has deputed 10 BAS officials each to Gaya and Jamui district to help the local administration in maintaining law and order during the visit of PM Modi. They will stay at their places of deputation on April 1 & 2, 2019, and function as per directives of theb respective DMs. They will join their respective posts after the end of their deputation period. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a notification to this effect on March 29, 2019.
