Woman strangulated to death by hubby for opposing his relation with another woman

Buxar : Khushbu Kumari was strangulated to death allegedly by her husband at Jungle Bazaar under Dumraon police station in Buxar district on March 30, 2019, for opposing his illicit relation with a woman. An FIR was lodged with Dumraon police station and police arrested her husband. Police brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

SHO, Dumraon police station, said that Khushbu Kumari, daughter of Bijay Jaiswal of village Nauli of Gajipur district in Uttar Pradesh, was married to Chandan Jaisawal of Jungle Bazaar under Dumraon police station in Buxar district about three years back. But, Chandan Jaisawal’s behaviour with his wife was very rude and he always compelled her to wear provocative dress and even tried to force her to appease other gents which she always opposed. At this, Chandan Jaisawal thrashed her, the SHO said. In the meantime, she found her husband Chandan Jaiswal in compromising position with a woman in a room and raised an alarm. But, Chandan Jaisawal with the help of that woman strangulated Kushbu Kumari to death, the SHO said.
