Patna: While Supreme Court of India and Allahabad High Court are functioning during the month long summer vacation, Patna High Court (PHC) too will work  partially during  the annual vacation which starts from Monday.
According to an order issued by the acting chief justice of Patna high court Iqbal Ahmad Ansari, during the vacation period, the high court  will function only for issuance of notices or  rule in any criminal, civil or constitutional  matter as the vacation judge may consider urgent and for passing interim order regarding stay, injunction, bail or any other matter as they may deem fit.
The court will work from 8.30 am .The application for issue of urgent orders  may be filed before the court or after the court is over, before the officer on duty till 2.30 pm. In the first week of vacation from May 23 to May 26, acting chief justice and ten other judges will sit in the courts. They include Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh, Justice Navniti Prasad Singh, Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi, ustice Kishore K Mandal, Justice Ravi Ranjan, Justice Anjana Prakash, Justice R K Mishra, Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh, Justice Ashwini Kumar Singh, Justice J M Sharma, Justice Nilu Agarwal and Justice Sudhir Singh
