Patna: Altogether 23 police personnel have been placed under suspension by Senior SP (SSP) Manu Maharaaj on charge of dereliction of duty during Prakashotsav. Police said that the police personnel from Motihari, Katihar, Lakhisarai, Banka, Training Centre, Banka, CTS, Nathnagar and Muzaffarpur, deputed to Patna, were either not present on their duty or were found sleeping.Taking serious note of it, the SSP placed them under suspension.
