Paswan to inaugurate facilities under first phase of Namami Gange on July 7

Patna: Union minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan will inaugurate facilities being created under first phase of Namami Gange at Hajipur in Vaishali district on July 7, 2016. The​ NBCC is undertaking renovation of existing Ghat and construction of new Ghat, construction of crematorium, public amenities under National Mission for Clean Ganga at Hajipur, Bihar. Under Phase-I programme, four new ghats are proposed to be constructed besides retrofitting and renovation of existing 6 ghats and construction of crematoria at Konhara. The main function will be held at Siddhi Ghat.
