Patna: The state government has suspended Sub-inspector Arwind Kumar Yadav and police constable Pawan Kumar Singh in connection with the incident related to assault on a sub-judge of Gopalganj last week. Lalit Kishore, additional advocate general, informed Patna High Court hearing a petition today that the two policemen were present at Muniya Chowk near Gopalganj collectorate and they allegedly misbehaved with the judge who was going to his court from his residence in a car. Acting chief justice Iqbal Ahmad Ansari hearing the petition said a contempt of court proceedings would be launched against the two as they prevented the sub-judge from going to court and misbehaved with him. The district and sessions judge of Gopalganj had sent a letter to the High Court after the incident and this letter was treated as petition by chief justice Iqbal Ahmad Ansari.
