Patna : Replying to England’s 583/8 declared in their first innings, Pakistan were 267/9 in their first innings in the third session of the play in 3rd test on day 3 at the Rose Bowl, Southampton, UK, with captain Azhar Ali unbeaten on 135 with 20 fours. Pakistan trail by 316 runs.
Azhar Ali and Mohammad Rizwan (wk) added 138 runs for the 6th wicket. Rizwan fell to all-rounder Chris Woakes for 53 in 113 balls with 5 fours and a six. Spinner Yasir Shah made 20 while Babar Azam scored 11 runs.
England fast bowler James Anderson has taken 4/54 while fellow fast bowler Stuart Broad has taken 2/35. Chris Woakes and spinner Dominic Bess have taken one wicket each.
