‘Padmaavat’ collects Rs 19 cr on its first day

Patna : Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padokone starrer ‘ Padmaavat’ collected over Rs 18 crore on its opening day on January 25, 2018, with the occupancy rate ranging from 50 to 60 %. The film has not been released in a few states due to protest from some organisatios. It was released on 4,000 screens. Bhansali’s ‘ Bajirao Mastani’ had reportedly collected Rs 12 crore in its first day.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘ Tiger Zinda Hai’ has collected Rs 335 in its first five weeks.
