Governor Malik highlights achievements of Bihar Govt

Patna : Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik unfurled the tricolour at Patna Gandhi Maidan on January 26, 2018, on the 69th Republic-Day celebrations.

The Governor said that the state government is working for the development of every section of the society. The government is holding meetings to review the progress of different welafre schemes particulraly those launched under its ” Saat Nischa”, he said. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi were also present on the occasion. Tableau displaying the government measures to empower women, promote industries and rid the state of social evils were taken out on the occasion.

A ‘Swagat Samaroh’ was organised at the Raj Bhavan on January 26 evening to mark the occasion. Governor Malik, CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Modi were prominent among those attending it. A cultural programme was also presented by artists from  ‘Bhartiya Nritya Kala Mandir’ and ‘ Kilkari’ at ‘Rajendra Mandapam’, Raj Bhavan, from 5 pm on the day.
